While playing with robots is plenty fun, we pride ourselves on carrying out our core value of Guidance, where we provide students with the resources needed to become the best possible versions of themselves. Our mentors have cultivated an environment where students are able to thrive in multiple fields, specifically: mechanical applications, software proficiencies, business management, team building, and personal development.
Members are trained to be comfortable and confident with power tools, machinery, wood working, metal crafting, automated manufacturing, designing, prototyping, 3D printing, electronics, and pneumatics.
Our mentors teach interactive lessons on software that students will use through the entire season, such as Inventor, Fusion360, PrusaSlicer, Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express, Java, and Google Suite.
Following an applied learning model, members are taught and then practice long-term planning, social media management, website development, marketing, fundraising, entrepreneurship, and networking.
Students consistently work in settings and scenarios that demand for quality communication, time management, problem solving, active listening, critical thinking, collaborating, leadership, and inclusion.
The team actively fosters a positive environment for growth in public speaking, self esteem, confidence, expression, accountability, critical thinking, responsibility, empathy, and open-mindedness.
